Toxoplasmosis can be caused by raw meat. This is a severe condition that can cause muscle pain, headaches, sore throat, and enlarged lymph nodes. Toxoplasmosis symptoms can be more severe if your immune system is already compromised. It can also cause blurred sight, confusion, nausea, and balance problems.
Raw meat left out in the open can cause it to become contaminated and attract bacteria. However, if you don’t eat it often, you might stomach upset. Tufts University and the Cummings Veterinary Medical School concluded that raw meat was highly susceptible to bacteria and contamination. They wouldn’t recommend that animals eat it.
Although not all raw meats are contaminated. It’s unlikely that you will get sick from eating contaminated meat. However, humans weren’t designed to consume raw meat, so why unnecessary risk-taking risks. Toxoplasmosis can be avoided by cooking your meat until it is done. It doesn’t matter how well-cooked the meat is, and it is essential that it be
refrigerated. This will prevent you from getting bacteria that can cause stomach upsets and diarrhea.
