Salad Dressings
Salad dressings sold in stores are often high in sugar, high fructose syrup, fat, and calories. They also contain high amounts of salt, so they can’t be used to top off otherwise healthy salads. Salt can cause high blood pressure. However, scientists have discovered that high-fructose syrup promotes intestinal tumor growth and metabolic dysregulation.
Many dressings in supermarkets have extra preservatives or additives that enhance the flavor and color of food and hide cheap ingredients.
You can use olive oil, balsamic vinegar, or apple cider vinegar to dress your salad instead. It’s healthier and more delicious than traditional dressings. Blend Three tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar to make a delicious dressing that will taste great and be good for your health. Then add in some pepper, garlic, and basil.
